Off to Turkey.

(posted by stuartgrant)Hi all,
So, we didn’t manage to collect our thoughts from the first half of our trip and blog about them… but now it’s time for the second (and smaller) half of our trip: Turkey.
In about half an hour Elly and I will catch a bus to Istanbul and meet up with Humf again (he’s been seeing some of the sights… including Gallipoli – what a good little Aussie!). The following day we’ll be catching a super-budget Turkish airline (eek) to Cappadocia, which is a mountainous region of central Turkey that supposed to be pretty spectacular. Here’s a photo from Wikipedia:
We’ll be hostelling for the week – hopefully we’ll have internet access and can keep you all jealous… I mean updated! Gosh, sorry.
See you!
Stu (and Elly).

Have a wonderful time in Turkey guys. (It’s Chris and Jan’s favourite country in Europe, Stu.)
But remember, if the White Witch offers you some Turkish Delight, just say no.
