Actually, considering how long we were in the sun the sunburn is very mild. David and Kathryn laughed at our Tassie-ness! Amelia - don't you worry. It will certainly get very cold. Hot first - we experienced a very hot summer last time we were here (late August 2007) with temps consistently in the high 30s. Winter will be very cold. A local did tell me that 'last winter wasn't as cold, it only got to -17°C.' So we expect a white Christmas!
