[Enjoy!]

Elly and I went to Kardjali Lake with David and Kathryn, one of the Korean families and all the kids.

Men are here. We make fire. Then put out fire by peeing, never get invited back.

Native children aboard a traditional Bulgarian grass boat.

Kardjali Lake is a hydro dam, but that sounds so much less romantic.

It was hard work paddling up hill, but back down the other side was a hoot.

A UFO hid in the clouds trying to beam up the dinghy with its white light.

Coming back to shore to top up on deisel.

I just kept on taking photos... no one told me they'd left the frame.

We spent an hour working out how to photograph lens-flare - oh my retinas...

Well done everyone, looks like we made it to Narnia.

A lovely day; we finished it by taking Aydin for a paddle and explaining the new behaviour management policy...

Hey guys
Looks like a great little outing. :) The weather looks sunny and warm – I’m jealous! And that boat looks fun too! :D Love the one of you paddling off into the sunset in silhouette – nice shot. :)

Guess what Stu and Elly…I have a facebook account now. Catherine Arnott is visiting for a few days and she’s translating for me. Sometimes I feel like I have culture shock when I come up against “Generation Y” stuff! Looks like you guys are having a great time…I think you’re amazing to be documenting it so well too. I can’t imagine trying to teach my (almost) 5-year-old for three hours a day – that’s full-on!

Woot, that’s cool Sal! Did you know that you’re the first Tassie Grant to have a Facebook account? Heth and I are pretentious… I mean conscientious objectors to FB. I do catch up on heaps of gossip through Elly’s account tho… You’re right about FB culture shock – I have no idea how it works, tho I’m sure it’s very po’mo.

Have fun with various Arnies! We’re into week 3 of teaching (which is actually term 2, week 9…) which includes a story about days of the week and 3D geometry involving household objects. Fun fun.

Love Stu.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! Sal is on Facebook!!! :p

Yeah Stu and I are facebook snobs. It is so po’mo’ and I seriously wonder sometimes whether I was born a generation too late! Gen Y doesn’t make sense to me half the time either Sal!! I will have to get Caleb to be friends with you!

Thanks for the awesome pics Stu and Elly, they are awesome! It’s so nice not only to hear what you’re up to, but see some pictures! (such a stu pose with the bonfire – he’s not pyromaniac!!!! nooooooo….)

Keep in touch, stay funny (I mean fun) and keep on rocking!!! :)
Hope teaching is fun! :)
Love Heth
